I know, I have this already on my blog but this plate is awesome. Bean, beef, cheese burrito that is huge and well worth the wait to eat.

Here I am with my grandchildren and son. Nathan is going to the West Bank very soon to work mission work from our church. It is always good to spend time with family. What a blessing and what a joy. I am so thankful for my family who support me in my dreams and riding. Of course it is good to have a job that pays for my dream riding. Without the job the dream becomes very small.

This is the kitchen inside Dumplin's great hard working people that, as you can see, can turn out some food. You can get a hamburger for breakfast and fresh made fries, or steak, or just about anything you would desire. Love this place.

This is the inside of Dumplins in Odessa, you can see the place is full and it is like this every day of the day, or at least on Saturday mornings.

The back view of the Burgman, I do not have a name for the scoot, I do not know if I will, however, I know many people do name their rides. I will miss the Piaggio and the ride of comfort and the fairing was great. The Burgman has the speed, lightness, and great seat and backrest. Good trade off.

Okay, here I am beside the new scoot. I weigh more than the bike, oh no, something has to lose weight and it may be me. This new little Suzuki Burgman 400 will be the means to see North America and meet the people of the Land. It will be great.

New Scooter, Suzuki 400 CC, this is the ride for the scooter tour 2011 - 2031, of course there will be more, however; this one is the one that should fit the bill. Able to ride highway speeds, pass, and to be able to service it almost in any place that I go.

These 50 lbs did not happen by accident but a choice of good eating. I only eat here about 3 times a year. More and I would not be able to get out the door.

The experience is capable of capturing one's interest and attention; enchanting; spellbinding. People they are that good. Come to Odessa, TX and try one.

When you walk in the door it is causing feelings of wonder as you look at those beautiful wrapped tamales in corn husk. Hard work is required to make these. These are not things you throw in the deep fryer but each is made by hand and it takes time.

Saucedo, this place is epic, mythical for the tamales they serve. They are the best I have ever eaten since being in Texas. This Place is in Odessa, TX. Well worth the visit on 8th street.

Well, when you can't find a horse then you turn to the rabbits of West Texas. These things can really jump and they blend in with the surrounding country.

Okay, in West Texas we cowboys need to ride and what better way to ride than on a painted horse.

You can get a feel for the Archaeological site that may have appeared in England. Who knows why they built what they did but it is interesting.

This sign is at University of Texas @ Permian Basin and why they chose a Stonehenge for West Texas is beyond me, however it is cool looking.

The MP3 250 is a great ride to visit places in Midland and Odessa, Tx however it is to small to ride the highway for any long distance in West Texas.

4th of July Weekend, riding the MP3 and saw the flag in the wind. This flag is big and can be seen from 300 yards away. Proud to be born in America and proud to have served our country in the Navy.

Now you can see the oil rig, hot day drilling, 100 + degrees, wind 20 mph, 24 hours a day, these men work long hard hours. One of the most dangerous jobs in West Texas.

Looking towards the back of my neighborhood where the fire engulfed this field, one block from our home. We had to evacuate from our home and this was one of the scariest things that I have done.

Wow, this is a Texas Place called Clear Springs and the onions rings are awesome, best in Texas and great burgers, chicken fried steak, not so good fries, sorry Clear Springs, frozen fries do not cut it, but the other things are right on.

What can be better than StarBucks, good rich coffee and good to know that each Starbucks is going to be consistent with the taste and flavor of rich deep coffee, every bikers dream,

Back home in Midland, Texas. Good ride, hope you enjoyed some of the sights of Midland and Odessa, more to come in the future.

Well, I goofed on this posting however you will get many many pics of the same scene.

Once more I come to the memorial in Midland, a place that reminds of all those that have served and given their lives. So young and so many scares in the mind.

You can see the airport at Midland International Airport is new and nice looking.

The little 250 will go about 65 mph but anything above that and it will strain the engine. In West Texas you need at least a 400 cc or better yet a 500 cc. Scooters are great in town but on the highway where the traffic runs 80 to 85 mph it can be very dangerous.
